Senior finance executive with a diversified track record spanning ASX-listed mining, resources, regulated utilities, and technology. I combine Board-level capital markets expertise with the ability to stand up and stabilise finance functions quickly in complex, multi-jurisdictional environments.

My experience covers capital allocation, debt and equity transactions, treasury, and governance, along with rapidly assessing risk, building controls, and earning the trust of owners and Boards under time pressure. I’ve worked as a strategic advisor to CEOs and Boards through periods of significant commercial change, with firsthand exposure to critical minerals, diamonds, potash, regulated infrastructure, and early-stage technology.

Canadian, UK, and Australian citizen.

Experience

Lindian Resources

ASX 300 rare earths developer (~$1.5B market cap) moving into production.

Chief Financial Officer

Brought in as CFO to scale the finance and procurement teams for production and establish a controls and governance structure suitable for a mid-cap miner in a geopolitically sensitive commodity.

  • Systems and processes: The company went live on its first ERP, Pronto Xi, on my second day. Stabilised the system with the team, established processes and workflows, and instituted delegated authority structures to support the capital program.

  • Investor relations and capital markets: Presented on behalf of the company at Diggers & Dealers 2026 with a week’s notice. Met with investment banks on equity placement options to fund a rapid growth phase.
  • Accounting and tax: Aligned with auditors on the year-end plan and closed a significant scope gap in the rehabilitation provision, a new key audit matter, by researching, modelling, and writing the accounting paper for the company’s inaugural provision. Prepared a Kazakhstan VAT and income tax risk report to support an advancing M&A opportunity.
  • Team development: Rebuilt team capacity during year-end, recruiting two qualified accountants with immediate starts through my network.
